Welcome to Dorotheas Jewelry
At Dorothea's Jewelry, we believe in creating pieces that are not just beautiful but also deeply meaningful. Each piece is handcrafted with love, inspired by faith, and designed to adorn the people of God.
Our Journey
After a deeply personal and transformative encounter with God, Emelie Dorothea Bergqvist, the founder of dorotheas jewelry, felt a strong calling to merge her love for Jesus with her creative passion.
Jewelry design had captivated her since 2005 when she made her first necklace and fell in love with the craft. Inspired by her new understanding of God as the creator of the world and the profound insights she gained from daily Bible reading, Emelie began using her jewelry to convey spiritual truths and bless others.
Since its founding in 2011, dorotheas jewelry has touched the lives of thousands, sharing its designs, personal stories, and testimonies in churches and across various platforms.
Our Mission
Our mission at dorotheas jewelry is to adorn God's people with jewelry that reflects their faith and values. We are committed to creating pieces that are not only beautiful but also carry a deeper spiritual meaning about Gods love for each and one of us.
At dorotheas jewelry, we are dedicated to sustainability and ethical practices. We use only sustainable materials and ensure that our production processes are environmentally friendly. Each piece is stamped to guarantee its authenticity and ethical origins. Our commitment to sustainability reflects our respect for God's creation and our responsibility to protect it.
Handcrafted with Love
Every piece of jewelry at dorotheas jewelry is handcrafted with meticulous attention to detail. We use only the finest materials, including recycled 18K gold and sterling silver 925, to ensure the highest quality. Our process involves traditional techniques like hammering, filing, and soldering, combined with modern design elements. This commitment to quality craftsmanship ensures that each piece is not only beautiful but also durable and timeless.
Signature Designs
Our collection includes several signature pieces, each with its own unique story and biblical inspiration:
- Tears of Hope Earrings: Inspired by Revelation 21:4, these earrings symbolize hope and comfort, reminding us that God will one day wipe away all tears.
- Righteousness Necklace: Based on Ephesians 6:14, this powerful necklace represents that you are loved, designed to give the wearer a sense of strength and confidence.
- Shield of Faith Necklace: This necklace symbolizes a protective shield that fills you with hope and strength, inspired by the Armor of God from Ephesians 6:16.

MEET EMELIE DOROTHEA BERGQVIST
I find inspiration in almost anything—fallen leaves on an autumn day, a beautifully designed bowl, a clean line, or a rock by the shore. When I get to mix this with Bible verses that stick with me, words I meditate on over time, it's pure joy!
In the midst of everyday life, design ideas and revelations about the Bible verses I’ve read just pop up. I run into the workshop, start sawing and filing. This is how I "sketch" things out. Sometimes it turns out great right away—I get thrilled, put on my new jewelry, and show everyone I know how beautiful they are. ;)
Other times, it doesn’t turn out as planned. I leave the workshop and let it sit for a while. But then, a little later, I come up with a new approach, a fresh angle, or a different method. Almost every time, it turns out really well, and that’s how a new collection begins, which I’m excited to share with you in time.
The inspiration for new designs never runs out as long as I get to blend design with God's word. I'm so grateful and happy to share this with you.
